Hi there,

I hope you're not mad at me. Last week, I was supposed to
email you about the 'Alice FAQ' and I didn't. I was planning
to do it on Friday and then I heard the news, which you
probably have already heard by now...but Internet marketing
pioneer Corey Rudl passed away last Thursday.

That news hit me like a ton of bricks. The first few hours
it was just disbelief and a cold reminder that life is not
forever and it can be taken away at any moment. Then, it
transformed to true and complete grief for me. I only met
Corey once and very briefly, just a few short weeks ago...so
it's not like I lost a close friend. However, I did lose a
mentor and an incredible inspiration for my own
business...and from surfing all the Internet marketing
forums, I am far from being the only one who was grief-
stricken by the loss.

So, I got nothing done on Friday and I only wrote a brief
blog entry about Corey's passing that day. I just didn't
know what to say. Since it's been a few days, you've
probably had a chance to post your thoughts, but if you
haven't had a chance or just want to say a few more

Still, we must move on (we know Corey would never want to
see Internet marketing stop on his passing) and I do want to
let you know that the 'Alice FAQ' is ready for you. It will
be a constant work in progress and I will continue to add
answers to your questions. I have a LONG way to go just to
get through the questions I have now. Also, if you don't
see your specific question, do look around the various
categories for similar questions. If they cover the same
topic, I will probably just answer the question once.

This FAQ is interactive and you can post your comments and
follow-up questions. And hey, if you have your own thoughts
about questions and follow-up questions, feel free to post
them. I don't want the Alice FAQ to be all about me and what
I think, but more like a community where we can
interact and share.

And hey...before I go, I wanted to ask if you're going to
Gary Halbert's seminar in Miami this month? I was going to
take it easy for the summer, but my boys will be with their
Dad for the weekend and I thought I'd take advantage of
the incredible opportunity to roll up my sleeves and learn
from:

Gary Halbert, Michel Fortin, Mark Joyner and John Carlton.
What an amazing group of marketing geniuses...there was no
way I could resist.

And here's a little secret and do NOT tell Gary I said this!

<< Side note: If you don't know Gary, he's been a direct
response copywriter since the stone age (that's not the part
I don't want you to tell him!) and many other offline and
online marketers credit him with getting into direct
response marketing and teaching and helping them make
tremendous amounts of money.

The other thing you must realize about him is that he's one
of the gruffest tell-it-like-it-is-even-if-you-don't-like-it
guys. He offends many, but even those who are offended can't
help but learn from his brilliance. >>

But the secret thing is that I think Gary Hablert is one of
the biggest '(Internet) Marketing Sweeties' of all time. He
might be horrified that I said that, but I really I think
it would give him warm fuzzies inside. :-)

He is a giving guy and has been teaching others the fine art
of direct response marketing openly for quite some time.
He's also a tremendous supporter of a number of charities
and a lot of the work he does goes directly to his favorite
causes. So, underneath that gruff exterior, lies an original
'Sweetie' through and through.
