| Hi there, |
| |
|
I've added to new answers to the FAQ this week that I
think
you'll find helpful. A number of subscribers have asked me
how they can help ensure their questions get answered.
Please understand that I always receive way more questions
than I can possibly answer, but that certainly doesn't mean
there's no chance of having your question answered.
Here's a few tips:
1. Be specific in your question. If you ask, 'How do I get
traffic?' or something like that, it's tough to come up with
a succinct answer to help you. Tell me which traffic-
generation technique you're wondering about, you can also
tell me a bit about your website and we can go from there.
2. That said, the question about traffic has already been
answered on the FAQ and when you signed up for my
newsletter, you received free access to my 'Truth about
Traffic' course. That is a great starting point for you.
Therefore, the 2nd pointer is - Check the FAQ to see if your
question has already been answered.
3. I also have some good news. In the coming weeks, I am
going to create a system where you'll be able to receive
priority answers to your questions and I'll tell you more
about that soon. ;-)
So, on to this week's questions:
The first topic is around affiliate programs with recurring
commissions. A subscriber asked me:
'Would an affiliate program - usually used for ebooks - also
work for promoting newsletter subscriptions?'
...and my answer is here:

Recurring commission is something I've been thinking about a
lot lately, so I've also posted some thoughts on my blog
from an affiliate's perspective. You can read those here:

The next question is:
'I just finished your Truth about Traffic and LOVED it! It
left me wondering though... you mention that before you send
traffic to your site, you have to make sure it's ready for
it. What's the best way to find out if my site is good
enough? Thanks for all your help! Crystal'

Next week, we're going to talk more about Affiliate
Marketing - from the perspective of earning commissions by
selling other people's products. If you have any Affiliate
Marketing questions, be sure to submit them at:
http://www.aliceseba.com/ask-alice.html
I'll talk to you soon.
Take care,
